Artist Statement:

In each of my abstract paintings, my goal is to make the work feel truly ALIVE.  Life is an ever-changing dance of movement and I strive to capture that dynamic flow. The natural world is my inspiration- but not just the world we see.  I want to know and imagine worlds unseen. Color is the heart of my process, each one projects a particular mood and since the world is full of sorrow, I go for hues that are joyous and life affirming.  My shapes are organic, free, lyrical, the antithesis of algorithms and geometry.
